International Student Festival in Trondheim (ISFiT) 2025 (Funded)

ISFiT is the world’s largest International Student Festival, taking place biennially during the spring semester in Trondheim, Norway. They gather students from different national and cultural backgrounds to talk and connect through exciting and engaging topics and discussions.

The first ever ISFiT festival was held in 1990 and ever since people from around the world has gathered in Trondheim every other year in unison. The next festival will happen from the 13th to the 23rd of March 2025. Each festival explores a different theme, and this festival’s theme is POWER!

As a participant, you will be part of a community of international students passionate about creating positive change in the world. You will have the opportunity to engage in thought-provoking workshops, attend insightful debates, and participate in dynamic cultural exchange activities. Being a participant means more than just attending events and concerts — it means actively contributing your ideas, experiences, and perspectives to the discussions and debates that shape the understanding of the theme of POWER.

Cost of Student Festival

• ISFiT will provide food and accommodation, and you may also apply for additional funds if you need so to attend the festival. They offer limited financial support to help participants who might not otherwise be able to afford the trip to Trondheim.

Eligibility for Student Festival

• Applicants must be enrolled as a student at a university or other institution of higher learning at the time of application.
• Applicants must be at least 18 years old by the start of the festival (March 13, 2025).
• Must be proficient in English.
• Have interest in Global Issues and Leadership.
